An Alaskan Adventure: The Story of Devil's Paw
This mystery begins with a urgent message. Frank and Joe Hardy get a telegram from their friend Tony. Tony says he is in danger in Alaska. He needs their help right away. Tony also suggests they bring their friend, Chet Morton.
Danger at the Airport
At the airport, the boys notice someone following them. This person is spying on them. Suddenly, they are attacked! The police later find out the attacker is a wanted spy. His name is Romo Stransky.
Journey to Tony's Camp
The Hardy Boys arrive in Alaska. They meet Ted Sewell, who helps Tony. Ted leads the boys to Tony's camp. On the way, Ted shares a secret. His father disappeared. Ted wants the Hardy Boys to help him find him.
Mysteries on the Island
At the camp, Tony tells Frank and Joe about attacks. A mysterious gang has attacked them many times. The boys search the island. They find a knapsack, a map, and a piece of jade. Later, they learn something important. A gang member is going to a place called The Devil's Paw. This place is in British Columbia.
Uncovering Ancient Secrets
At The Devil's Paw, the boys learn about an old Indian burial site. People were stealing gold and jewelry from this site. The brothers remember the jade they found. It might have been stolen from this ancient burial place. They find the burial site. They also find Ted Sewell's father there!
The Lost Rocket and a Daring Escape
The Hardy Boys find the gang's camp. They learn the gang is looking for a lost rocket. Frank and Joe are captured by the gang. But they manage to escape! Their friend Chet helps them get away. They call for help on the radio. Soldiers arrive and arrest the whole gang.
