The New 3 Stooges was a fun American animated TV show that aired from 1965 to 1966. It starred the famous comedy group, the Three Stooges. The show mixed live-action scenes with animated cartoons, showing the trio's silly adventures. The main stars were Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Joe DeRita (who played Curly-Joe). Their friend and actor Emil Sitka also appeared, along with Margaret Kerry. The stories took place in many different places, like a sunny California beach or sailing as buccaneers (pirates) on the Spanish Main.

A Legal Challenge
Making The New 3 Stooges caused some money problems for the Stooges. Their contract said that the company distributing the show, Cambria Studios, should send them updates on the show's profits every three months. However, the Stooges rarely received these updates. This led to a lawsuit.
At first, the judge in the case didn't rule in their favor. But the Stooges appealed this decision in 1975, which means they asked a higher court to look at the case again. This time, they won! Sadly, even with this victory, the company still didn't provide the profit updates. By the time the case was finally decided, both Larry and Moe had passed away.
