What the Show Is About
The show stars Michael Gough as Zorro, who is secretly Diego de la Vega. His main enemy is Captain Montecero, voiced by Earl Boen. Pat Fraley plays Diego's father, Don Alejandro de la Vega. The funny Sergeant Garcia, voiced by Tony Pope, also appears. This character was made famous by Henry Calvin in the live-action Disney show from the 1950s.
This cartoon adds cool new elements to the Zorro story. It mixes science fiction and fantasy with the usual adventure. Zorro battles supervillains who use amazing steampunk gadgets and even magic. Zorro himself uses special equipment designed by his quiet helper, Bernardo. He also gets help from Grey Owl, a wise Native American woman who uses magic.
