Building History and Design
The Proscenium building was finished and opened in 2001. It was designed by a company called Tvsdesign. The building is a modern high-rise, which means it is very tall and has many floors. It has 25 floors above the ground and 3 floors below ground.
Companies and Offices
Many companies choose to have their offices in buildings like The Proscenium. These buildings offer lots of space for businesses to work.
Carter's, Inc. Offices
For a long time, a well-known company called Carter's, Inc., which makes clothes for babies and children, had its main offices in The Proscenium. Their offices were on the 9th floor.
In 2012, Carter's, Inc. decided to move its main offices to a different building in Atlanta called the Phipps Tower. This was a very big move because they leased a lot of space. Both The Proscenium and the Phipps Tower were owned by the same company, Manulife Financial Corp. This made it easier for Carter's to end their lease early at The Proscenium and move to their new location.
Other Businesses at The Proscenium
After Carter's, Inc. moved out, other companies began to lease space in The Proscenium. For example, in 2013, a technology company called Ionic Security leased offices in the building. This shows that The Proscenium continues to be a popular place for businesses in Atlanta.
