The Club's Interesting History
The building where The Punchline first started has an interesting past. Before it became a comedy club, it was a place that sold carpets! At another time, it was even a country and western bar. You can still see some of the old country bar style in the club's look today.
The first owners of The Punchline were Ron DiNunzio and Dave Montesano. Today, the club is owned by Chris DiPetta, who manages comedians, and Jamie Bendall, an attorney from Atlanta.
Moving to a New Home
The Punchline stayed in its original Sandy Springs location for many years. However, in March 2015, it closed down there. For about seven months, the club didn't have a physical building. But don't worry, it reopened in November 2015! Now, it shares a building with the Landmark Diner, ready to bring more laughter to its audience.
