The Sleepover Club is a very popular series of books for young people. Many different authors wrote these books, including Rose Impey and Narinder Dhami. The stories are about a group of five best friends. They love to have sleepovers at each other's houses very often. These books were also made into a fun television show for kids.
The books are set in a town called Cuddington in Leicester, England. However, the TV show takes place in a made-up beach town in Australia called Crescent Bay. The TV show does not follow the exact same stories as the books. But the first TV episode is a bit like one of the book stories. In that story, the girls try to help their "Brown Owl" (a leader) get together with their school caretaker.

Meet The Sleepover Club Girls
The club has five main members. They are Francesca, who everyone calls "Frankie" Thomas. Then there's Rosie Cartwright, and Felicity, known as "Fliss" Sidebotham. Later, Fliss's last name changes to "Proudlove." The group also includes Lyndsey "Lyndz" Collins and Laura "Kenny" McKenzie. These five girls are the heart of the Sleepover Club.
Their Rivals: The Gruesome Twosome
Every good story needs some rivals! The Sleepover Club girls often deal with two snobby girls from their class. Their names are Emma Hughes and Emily Berryman. Emma is often called "The Queen" and Emily is nicknamed "The Goblin." Together, they are sometimes called the "Gruesome Twosome" or even "The M&Ms." They often try to cause trouble for the Sleepover Club.
