The Sleepover Club is a fun Australian TV show. It's about a group of friends who have sleepovers and deal with everyday problems. The show was made by Andy Rowley for different companies like Wark Clements and Burberry Production. It was shown on channels like Netflix, ITV, Yey!, Nickelodeon, and the Nine Network.
The series is based on the The Sleepover Club books. It aired from November 1, 2002, to March 21, 2008.

About the Show
Season One: The Original Club
The first season introduces five best friends who form the Sleepover Club. They are Frankie, Fliss, Kenny, Lyndz, and Rosie. Each girl takes turns hosting sleepovers. The club faces everyday challenges and adventures.
Their main rivals are a group of three boys called the M&Ms. These boys, Matthew, Marco, and Michael, often try to bother the girls. There are also two other girls, Sara and Alana, who always want to join the club or cause trouble.
Meet the Main Girls
- Francesca "Frankie" Thomas (Caitlin Stasey) is the leader of the Sleepover Club. She is brave and determined. Frankie can sometimes be a bit bossy. She is an only child but wishes she had a sibling. Frankie dreams of becoming an actress. Her favorite color is purple.
- Felicity "Fliss" Sidebotham (Ashleigh Chisholm) loves fashion and cares a lot about how she looks. She is bubbly and has a crush on a boy named Ryan Scott. Fliss's parents are divorced. She has a younger brother, Callum. Her favorite color is pink.
- Kendra "Kenny" Tan (Hannah Wang) is the sporty member of the club. She loves soccer and hopes to manage a big team someday. Kenny is a natural leader and always supports her friends. She moves away in episode 13. Her favorite color is orange.
- Lyndsey "Lyndz" Collins (Basia A'Hern) is from England, like Rosie. She is usually the kindest member of the group. Lyndz loves animals, especially horses, and wants to run a horse riding school. Her twin brother, Michael, is one of the M&Ms. Her favorite color is green.
- Rosie Cartwright (Eliza Taylor) is also from England. She wants to be a writer or journalist, just like her dad. Rosie is the smartest of the girls and often helps solve problems for the group. She has a crush on Lyndz's older brother, Tom. Her favorite color is yellow.
Other Important Characters
- Matthew McDougal (Ryan Corr) leads the M&Ms boys' group. He often tries to spy on the Sleepover Club. It seems he might have a crush on Frankie.
- Marco de Peiri (Stefan La Rosa) is the friendliest M&M. He sometimes accidentally reveals the boys' plans. He also starts to like Fliss.
- Michael Collins (Blake Hampson) is Lyndsey's twin brother and an M&M. He can sometimes be kind.
- Sara (Annaleise Woods) wants to break up the Sleepover Club. The girls call her Sara Tiara.
- Alana (Ashleigh Brewer) is Sara's friend. The Sleepover Club calls her Alana Banana. She usually agrees with whatever Sara says.
- Mr. Stephanopolous (Vince D'Amico) owns the Beach Hut Café, where everyone hangs out. The Sleepover Club once saved his café from closing.
Season Two: A New Generation
Three years after the first season, Frankie (now 16) has to move. She gives her Sleepover Club book to her cousin, Charlie. Charlie then starts a new Sleepover Club with her four best friends: Tayla, Maddy, Jess, and Brooke.
The new rivals are a group of boys called "The Blockheads." Jason, Simon, and Declan, along with Krystal and Caitlin, try to interfere with the new club.
Meet the New Main Girls
- Charlotte "Charlie" Anderson (Morgan Griffin) leads the second Sleepover Club. She is Frankie's cousin and wants to be a journalist. Charlie and Maddy have been best friends since kindergarten.
- Tayla Kane (Rachel Watson) loves the color pink and is very interested in fashion. She often listens to advice from a psychic phone pal.
- Madeline "Maddy" Leigh (Emanuelle Bains) is very competitive and loves sports like basketball and surfing. She is also very smart, especially in science.
- Jessica "Jess" Philips (Monique Williams) is the artistic and shy one. She loves art and is best friends with Brooke.
- Brooke Webster (Katie Nazer-Hennings) enjoys photography and knows a lot about computers. She also loves animals. Her stepbrother, Simon, is one of the Blockheads.
Other Important Characters (Season Two)
- Jason Block (James Bell) leads the Blockheads. He and Charlie used to be friends. He often bothers the Sleepover Club girls, but he might have a crush on Charlie.
- Declan (Shannon Lively) is one of Jason's friends. He isn't the smartest but usually goes along with Jason's plans.
- Simon Webster (Nathan Coenen) is Brooke's stepbrother. He sometimes gets information from Brooke to tell Jason.
- Krystal Beasley (Julia O’Connor) always tries to find out the Sleepover Club's secrets. She is very bossy and spoiled.
- Caitlin (Ruby Hall) is Krystal's loyal friend. She is often led astray by Krystal.
