Eliza Taylor is an Australian actress born on October 24, 1989. You might know her best from her roles as Janae Timmins in the Australian TV show Neighbours. She also played Clarke Griffin in the popular science fiction series The 100. More recently, she starred as Hannah Carson in the science fiction series Quantum Leap.

Early Life and Dreams
Eliza Taylor was born in Melbourne, Australia. She grew up with two sisters and one brother. Her mother is a writer and a graphic designer. Her stepfather was a stand-up comedian. Her biological father owned cafes. When she was younger, Eliza dreamed of becoming a marine biologist.
Eliza's Acting Journey
Starting Out: TV Shows and Neighbours
Eliza Taylor began her acting career in 2003. She had a main role in the show Pirate Islands. After that, she starred as Rosie Cartwright in The Sleepover Club. She also had a guest role in the police drama Blue Heelers.
In 2005, Eliza got a big role in the Australian TV show Neighbours. She played the character of Janae Timmins. She had actually appeared in the show before in a small guest role. Eliza stayed on Neighbours until 2008. She decided to leave to try new projects. She wanted to act in pantomimes and work in the United States.
After Neighbours, Eliza traveled to the UK. She performed as Snow White in a Christmas pantomime. In 2009, she appeared in an episode of All Saints. She also filmed a short comedy movie called The Laundromat. Later, she acted in the horror film 6 Plots.
Becoming a Star in The 100

On March 1, 2013, it was announced that Eliza Taylor would play the main character, Clarke Griffin. This was for a new science fiction show called The 100 on The CW network. The show was about a group of young people sent back to Earth after a nuclear disaster.
In 2014, Eliza also starred in the thriller movie The November Man. For her role in The 100, Eliza was nominated for several awards. These included the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
In 2017, Eliza starred in two more films. She played Kat Carter in the thriller-drama Thumper. She also starred as Ellen Langford in the Netflix Christmas movie Christmas Inheritance.
Recent Work and New Roles
In 2021, Eliza tried directing. She directed two music videos. One was for "Vices" by Sarah and the Sundays. The other was for "Bad Posture" by Abby Anderson.
In 2022, Eliza appeared in an episode of The Orville. She played the guest role of Doctor Villka.
In 2023, Eliza and her husband, Bob Morley, starred together in the sci-fi thriller I'll Be Watching. Eliza was also an executive producer for this film. The same year, she was an executive producer and starred as Ruby Allen in the romantic comedy It Only Takes a Night. Both films were released on digital platforms.
In October 2023, Eliza joined the cast of Quantum Leap. She plays the role of Hannah Carson as a main character in the second season.
Eliza's Personal Life
On June 7, 2019, Eliza Taylor announced on Twitter that she had married Bob Morley. Bob was her co-star on The 100. They had planned to direct episodes for the final season of The 100. However, Eliza was unable to direct her episode due to a personal health challenge.
On March 20, 2022, Eliza and Bob shared happy news. They announced the birth of their first child, a son. In 2024, Eliza spoke on a podcast about a difficult time she experienced after her son was born.
