The Teapot's Story
This fairy tale tells the adventures of a proud porcelain teapot. She loved being the center of attention on the tea table. The teapot was especially proud of her fancy handle and spout. However, she wasn't so happy about her lid, which had a small crack.
Life on the Tea Table
The teapot felt very important holding the tea leaves. She enjoyed pouring hot tea for people who were thirsty. She believed her purpose was to serve and be admired.
An Unexpected Change
One day, something unexpected happened. The teapot was accidentally dropped. Her beautiful handle and spout broke off. She was no longer perfect for serving tea.
A New Purpose
After being broken, the teapot was given to a kind beggar woman. The woman didn't throw her away. Instead, she filled the teapot with soil. Then, she planted a flowering bulb inside it.
Finding True Happiness
This new role changed everything for the teapot. She had never felt such joy before. Watching the plant grow and bloom brought her a happiness she couldn't have imagined. She learned that being useful in a new way was wonderful.
Cherished Memories
Eventually, the teapot broke completely in two. The flowering bulb was carefully moved to a bigger pot. The old teapot was then thrown away. Even though she was gone, the teapot held onto her happy memories. She remembered the joy of helping the flower grow.
