What the Movie is About
Wally's Magic Dream
Wally the Great is a magician who wants to win a big competition. He is the great-grandson of a famous magician named Waldo the Magnificent. Wally's main rival is Roland the Remarkable, who thinks Wally isn't good enough.
The Wiggles and Dorothy's Birthday
Meanwhile, The Wiggles – Greg (the singer), Murray (guitar), Anthony (drums), and Jeff (keyboard) – are performing. They are at a school for Dorothy the Dinosaur's birthday party. The school principal, Mrs. Bingle, accidentally blows a whistle near Anthony, which makes him act super silly!
Wally sees Dorothy put Greg's magic wand down. Dorothy is sad because she thinks everyone forgot her birthday. But really, The Wiggles are keeping her surprise party a secret. Wally quickly grabs the wand, but Dorothy catches him. They have a tug-of-war, and the wand breaks in half!
Searching for Dorothy
The Wiggles decide to look for Dorothy in their Big Red Car. They visit Henry the Octopus and his band. They even get frozen on "Brrrrrrrrrr Street" but still can't find Dorothy. They head back to Wigglehouse.
Wally and Dorothy's Adventure
The magic wand gets broken even more after an accident with Wags the Dog and his puppies. As Wally and Dorothy go on adventures, they become better friends. They visit Captain Feathersword the Friendly Pirate. Wally even saves a crew member who falls in the water and gets a medal!
Dorothy is still sad about her birthday. Wally tells her he didn't forget, which makes her feel a little better. Wally remembers his grandfather telling him to believe in himself. He almost misses the magic competition, but Dorothy helps him get there on time.
The Magic Competition and Party
Wally finds his grandfather's old magic supplies. This makes him feel much more confident. At the competition, Roland the Remarkable performs and gets high scores.
Wally does his magic act. The judges give him great scores, and he wins the competition! Roland is surprised but also impressed. Wally takes Dorothy to her party just as everyone is about to give up. The party starts, and Dorothy is so happy. She has a new friend in Wally, and her friends remembered her birthday after all!
