About Tommy Shane Steiner

Tommy Shane Steiner was born in Austin, Texas. His parents were both involved in rodeo shows. Even though his family was in rodeo, Tommy really wanted to be a country music artist.

Early Music Career

Tommy started his music journey by performing in different clubs across Texas. His talent was noticed, and RCA Nashville signed him in 2001. That same year, he released his first song, "What If She's an Angel". This song quickly became a hit. It was played on almost 100 radio stations in just one week. "What If She's an Angel" reached number 2 on the Billboard U.S. Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts.

His Album and Later Career

After his first hit song, Tommy released his only album, Then Came the Night, in 2002. While his first song was very successful, his next songs did not do as well on the music charts. Because of this, Tommy and RCA Nashville stopped working together in December 2002. He has not recorded new music since then.

After leaving the music business, Tommy Shane Steiner went back to his family's cattle ranch in Austin. He later sold the ranch. Today, he owns a restaurant called Steiner Ranch Steakhouse. He sometimes performs at his restaurant, but he has decided not to return to the music industry full-time.
