Thomas & Friends is a children's television series about the engines and other characters working on the railways of the Island of Sodor, and is based on The Railway Series books written by the Reverend W. Awdry.
This article lists and details episodes from the fourteenth series of the show, which was first broadcast in 2010. This series was narrated by Michael Angelis for the UK audiences, while Michael Brandon narrates the episodes for the US audiences.

The Island Inspector pays a visit to Sodor, but Thomas' ambitious plans to impress him lead to chaos and flying coal trucks, but eventually corrects all of his mistakes to make the railway on Sodor a good railway for the inspector in the end, and knows he shouldn't have focused of making chaos, but that to impress the inspector, they all had just to do their work as usual, because that's what makes any engine very useful.

It's close to Christmas, and some children is missing a hat for their snowman; so Thomas decides to help them by looking for a hat. He comes across many different hats, but it later appears that they all belonged to important people that was also going to attend the Christmas party. In the end, Sir Topham Hatt gives the children his old hat, since he has got a new one now as a gift.

A new engine arrives on Sodor to help Whiff at the Waste Dump, but when Scruff is about to get himself cleaned; he flies away and hides behind bushes and Thomas tries to get help from the other engines, but it doesn't work. Eventually he figures it out himself, and he brings Scruff to Whiff's waste dump and Whiff and Scruff get to work with the rubbish trucks. Thomas realises that Scruff is like Whiff, liking rubbish shunting, and actually being dirty.

Gordon is put in charge of Whiff's Waste Dump on Clean Sodor Day, but he doesn't want the other engines to see him at the wastedump, so every time an engine comes to the wastedump with a truck of rubbish, Gordon finds a place to hide, until the Fat Controller arrives and reassures Gordon that everyone sometimes has to do things they don't like, and in this case all the engines who has been at the wastedump, had done so, too.

Thomas takes Dowager Hatt on a slow tour of Misty Island, but the Dowager wants to have a more exciting trip, and eventually it becomes more exciting for her when she gets a faster run on Misty Island. And when she returns to see Sir Topham Hatt, she states she had a wonderful time with Thomas on this trip.

One day Henry must help the Fat Controller with a surprise for Christmas, which is contained in a box that Henry picks up at Brendam Docks. Finally, he realises that all the trees he has been seeing popping up at the farm, were actually what was in the box itself.
