Thomas Hansen (born February 13, 1976 – died September 5, 2007) was a musician from Norway. He played alternative country music and was known by his stage name Saint Thomas (or sometimes St. Thomas).

Thomas decided to become a musician after he stopped working as a mailman. He was inspired by the music of other artists like Elliott Smith and Will Oldham. He first started a band called Emily Lang, but it didn't last long. After that, he began making music by himself. A small music label in Norway noticed his talent and released 200 copies of his first record, a 7-inch single called "Songs." Later, a French music label, Darjeeling Sounds, released his first full album, Surfer's Morning, in a small number of copies.

Thomas Hansen's career really took off after he performed at Norway's Quart Festival in 1999. He then signed with a record company called Racing Junior. His first album with them was I'm Coming Home. Before the album came out, he released "The Cornerman EP," which was a very popular mini-album in Norway during the summer of 2001. His album I'm Coming Home was then released in many other countries in 2002.

After that, Thomas released three more albums. He also went on tours, playing concerts in Europe with the band Lambchop and in the United States in 2005 with Of Montreal. His album, Children Of The New Brigade, was released in August 2005 in Norway by Racing Junior. His music was also released by another record company called Misra Records.

In August 2006, Saint Thomas released his sixth album, There's Only One of Me. He released this album on his own record label, Cornerman Records. Other labels also helped release his music in different countries. For example, Make My Day Records released it in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. An Irish label called yesboyicecream records released it in the UK and Ireland.

A song called 'St. Thomas' by the band The Broken Family Band (from a side project by their singer Steven Adams) was named after Thomas Hansen.

Thomas Hansen passed away on September 10, 2007, when he was 31 years old.
