Thomas Henry's Football Journey
Starting His Career
Thomas Henry started his football journey at clubs like Beauvais and Fréjus Saint-Raphaël. In 2015, he joined Nantes. He played his first game in France's top league, Ligue 1, on December 12, 2015. This match was against Toulouse FC, and it ended in a 1–1 draw. Thomas came into the game after 72 minutes.
After playing two games for Nantes in Ligue 1, he moved to Chambly on June 15, 2016.
Playing for OH Leuven
In January 2019, Thomas Henry joined OH Leuven in Belgium. He had played very well for Tubize in the Belgian second division, scoring 11 goals in the first half of the 2018–19 season.
He continued to play well at OH Leuven. In the 2020–21 Belgian Pro League season, he scored 21 goals. This was the second-highest number of goals in the entire league! Because he was playing so well, many big clubs in Europe became interested in him. These clubs included Celtic, Bordeaux, and Venezia.
Overall, Thomas Henry scored 45 goals and helped with 12 assists in 79 matches for OH Leuven. This was over three and a half seasons before he moved to a new club in August 2021.
Moving to Italy: Venezia
On August 24, 2021, Thomas Henry joined Venezia. This club had just been promoted to Serie A, Italy's top football league. There had been a lot of talk about where he would go. Some reports even said that Celtic had offered a lot of money for him.
