Thomas Heth was born in London, England. When he was older, in 1567, he joined All Souls College, Oxford, which is a famous university. He studied hard and earned his first degree (called a Bachelor of Arts or B.A.) in 1569. A few years later, in 1573, he earned a higher degree (a Master of Arts or M.A.).

What Thomas Heth Wrote
Thomas Heth wrote books to share his ideas. One of his important works was called Manifest and Apparent Confutation of an Astrological Discourse. In this book, he disagreed with the ideas of another person named Richard Harvey, who made predictions based on astrology. Heth believed these predictions were not true and could worry people for no reason.
Along with this book, Heth also wrote a short forecast called Brief Prognostication or Astronomical Prediction. This part talked about when two big planets, Saturn and Jupiter, would line up in the sky in 1583. Both of his writings were dedicated to Sir George Carey.
