Thomas Laszlo Winkler, born on November 20, 1985, is a talented singer from Switzerland. He is well-known for being the lead singer of two exciting power metal bands: Angus McSix and Gloryhammer.
In Gloryhammer, he played special characters like "Angus McFife, Prince of the Land of Fife" and "Angus McFife XIII." These characters were part of the band's amazing fantasy stories.

Thomas Winkler's Music Journey
Thomas Winkler was born in Zollikofen, Switzerland. He began his music career in 2009. Before that, he studied law at the University of Bern.
He joined two Swiss heavy metal bands called Emerald and T-Rage. Thomas also sang for a Chinese power metal band, Barque of Dante. He contributed to their song "Way of Your Life" in 2011.
In 2010, Thomas posted a video online where he was trying out for the band DragonForce. Later, Christopher Bowes, the singer from the band Alestorm, discovered him. Christopher asked Thomas to join Gloryhammer.
Thomas first said no, but after more offers, he joined the band. He was a member of Gloryhammer from 2012 to 2021. During this time, he recorded three full music albums with them.
On August 22, 2021, Gloryhammer announced that Thomas Winkler was no longer in the band. Thomas later explained that they had different ideas about how to run the band.
Joining Angus McSix
On July 4, 2022, Thomas shared exciting news. He announced he was returning to music with a new band called Angus McSix. He signed a deal with Napalm Records.
On October 10, 2022, the full lineup for Angus McSix was revealed. Thomas was joined by Thalìa Bellazecca, Manu Lotter, and Sebastian Levermann. These band members also play characters in the band's story. They even wear special costumes!
The band's first song, "Master of the Universe," came out on January 19, 2023. At the same time, they announced their first album, Angus McSix and the Sword of Power. This album was released on April 21, 2023. Two more songs, "Sixcalibur" and "Laser Shooting Dinosaur," were also released from the album.
On January 7, 2025, Thomas Winkler announced he was leaving Angus McSix. He said he wanted to spend more time with his family.
