The Thompson Twins were a music group from England. They started making music in 1977. The group stopped playing together in May 1993. They became very popular in the United States. They had three songs that reached the top ten on the music charts there.
Even though they were called "Thompson Twins," none of the members were actually twins. Also, none of them had the last name Thompson! For most of their time as a band, there were three members.
