Thor Vilhjalmsson (born August 12, 1925 – died March 2, 2011) was a famous writer from Iceland. He wrote many books, and his first novel was published in 1950. It was called Maðurinn er alltaf einn, which means Man is Always Alone. He became well-known for his unique writing style.
