Exploring Thornton Beach's Location

Thornton Beach is right next to the beautiful Coral Sea on its eastern side. To the south, you will find the Cape Tribulation Road. This road connects Thornton Beach to other places. It links to Diwan in the south and Cape Tribulation in the north.

The beach itself is wide and flat. When the tide is high, the water almost reaches the trees! Most of the land in the southern and western parts of Thornton Beach is part of the amazing Daintree National Park. This park is famous for its ancient rainforests and unique wildlife.
