Three Logan Square is a very tall office building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It used to be called the Bell Atlantic Tower. This building has 55 floors and stands 739 feet (225 meters) high.

It was finished in 1991 and was designed by an architecture company called Kling Lindquist. The building has a huge amount of office space, about 1,300,000 square feet.

There's a special rule in Philadelphia that says buildings near the Benjamin Franklin Parkway can't be taller than 250 feet (76 meters). Three Logan Square is right at the edge of this area. The building also has a nice outdoor plaza made of the same red stone as the building. This plaza was built because the city requires new buildings to spend 1% of their budget on public art.

The very top floor of the building has a large room called Top of the Tower. This space can be rented out for parties and events.

A Look at Its History

The building was once the main office for a phone company called Bell Atlantic. But in 1996, Bell Atlantic bought another company named NYNEX. After that, Bell Atlantic moved its main office to New York City.

Later, in 2000, Bell Atlantic joined with another company called GTE. Together, they became the well-known company Verizon. Even though the name "Bell Atlantic" was no longer used, the building kept its original name for a while. It was hard to get everyone to agree on a new name.

In 2010, the building was sold to a company called Brandywine Realty Trust. This company decided to change the building's name to Three Logan Square. They did this to show that it's close to two other buildings they own, One Logan Square and Two Logan Square.
