How Thy Geekdom Con Started and Grew
The very first Thy Geekdom Con happened on April 18, 2015. It was held in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. For the next three years, the convention moved around. It was held in different places near Wilmington, Delaware. Each year, more and more people came to the event. The space used for the convention also grew bigger.
In 2017, the convention became a two-day event. This meant even more time for fun! Then, in 2018, Thy Geekdom Con moved to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. This new location was much larger. It helped the convention welcome all the growing number of fans. It also became a three-day event, giving everyone more time to explore.
In 2020, the convention had to be cancelled. This was because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The organizers wanted to keep everyone safe and healthy. The event was then moved to 2021.
