Tiffany's Early Life

Tiffany was born in Hermitage, Tennessee. Her aunt, Beverly, was a singer and musician who used to sing for Chaka Khan. This inspired Tiffany from a very young age. When she was just three years old, Tiffany sang her first solo in church. This moment sparked her love for music. Later, she moved to Newark, New Jersey, and joined the children's choir at Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Tiffany went to Immaculate Conception High School in Montclair, New Jersey. She later earned a full scholarship to Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. There, she studied music education. In 2004, Tiffany also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.

Singing for Other Stars

While at Morgan State University, Tiffany was part of a girl group called OnPoint. In 1998, the group was featured on a song called "Fee Fie Foe Fum Remix" by K-Ci & JoJo. The group later decided to go their separate ways in 1999.

After college, Tiffany worked as an administrative assistant from 2002 to 2006. She continued to pursue music part-time. During this time, she gained more experience as a professional singer. She performed as a background vocalist for artists like Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Regina Belle.

In March 2007, Beyoncé's music director contacted Tiffany. He asked her to join Beyoncé's band for an upcoming tour called The Beyoncé Experience. Tiffany quickly left her job and joined the band. She has performed with Beyoncé's band, Suga Mama, on seven tours. These include The Beyoncé Experience Tour (2007) and The Formation World Tour. She also performed with Beyoncé at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
