Timothy Charles Forsyth, born on August 17, 1973, is a famous Australian athlete. He was a high jumper who competed in three Olympic Games: 1992, 1996, and 2000. Tim is known for his incredible jumps and for representing Australia on the world stage.

Tim first showed his amazing talent in 1990. He won a silver medal at the World Junior Championships. In 1992, when he was just 19, Tim won an Olympic bronze medal. He jumped 2.34 meters, which was his best jump at that time. He also won another silver medal at the World Junior Championships. In 1994, he won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

His personal best jump was 2.36 meters, which he achieved in 1997. This was a new Australian record and also the best jump ever in the Oceanian area. Five months after this amazing jump, he won his last big medal. It was a bronze at the World Championships in Athens. Tim was also the national champion for Australia six times in high jump. He is the son of Jim Forsyth, who was a footballer for the Essendon Football Club.
