Early Life and Beginnings
Timothy Ugbedo Omaji was born in Kaduna, Nigeria. He moved to Australia with his family when he was less than a year old. His family loved music, and his dad often played the guitar. Everyone in his family enjoyed singing and dancing.
When he was nine, Tim formed a band with his family. He played the drums. During their shows, he would pretend to be Michael Jackson, singing and dancing. He also taught breakdancing classes in Darwin before moving to Canberra in 2003.
At 15, his friends started calling him "Timomatic" because of his amazing hip-hop dancing. He also worked as an artistic director and choreographer for a dance group called Kulture Break in Canberra. He traveled with them to perform in places like the United States, China, and Singapore. After finishing high school, Tim studied music at JMC Academy to improve his singing.
