Te Poho-o-Rawiri Marae

At the very bottom of Titirangi hill is Te Poho-o-Rawiri. This is a very important marae (a traditional Māori meeting place). It is the home of the Ngāti Oneone people. The marae was built by a famous Master-carver named Pine Taiapa. His work shows incredible skill and artistry.
