Tlahualilo de Zaragoza is a city located in the northeastern part of the Mexican state of Durango. It is the main city, or "municipal seat," of the Tlahualilo municipality. In 2010, about 9,517 people lived in the city.
Tlahualilo de Zaragoza is also part of a larger city area called Comarca Lagunera. This whole area had over 912,000 people living in it back in 2005. The Tlahualilo municipality, which includes the city and surrounding areas, had 22,244 residents. It shares borders with the state of Coahuila to the east, the Mapimí municipality to the west, and the city of Gómez Palacio to the south.
