Early Life
Todd Agnew was born in Dallas, Texas, and was adopted when he was a baby. He grew up in Dallas. In 1999, he started visiting Memphis to help with a Bible study group for college students. During this time, he began writing songs. These songs later became part of his first album, Grace Like Rain. Todd eventually moved to Memphis to help start a church called Highpoint Church.
Career
Todd Agnew's most famous song is "Grace Like Rain". This song is a new version of the classic hymn "Amazing Grace". It was featured on his first album, also called Grace Like Rain, which came out in June 2003. Todd wrote this song with his friend, Chris Collins.
Since then, Todd Agnew has released many albums. His 2005 album, Reflection of Something, included popular songs like "My Jesus" and "Unchanging One". You could often hear these songs on Christian radio stations. In 2006, he released a Christmas album called Do You See What I See?, which told the story of Christmas through music.
His fourth album, Better Questions, was released in 2007. It featured a popular song called "Our Great God", which he sang with another Christian artist, Rebecca St. James.
Todd Agnew is also known for performing his concerts without shoes!
Personal Life
On September 18, 2007, Todd Agnew proposed to his girlfriend at the last concert of his Better Questions Tour in Memphis, Tennessee. After touring for several years from Memphis, Todd moved back to Texas. He now lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and their two children.

In 2007, Todd Agnew's Christmas album, Do You See What I See?, was nominated for a Dove Award. This award was for Christmas Album of the Year at the 38th GMA Dove Awards. He has also been nominated for six other Dove Awards. These nominations include New Artist of the Year and awards for his rock and contemporary songs and albums.
