Tomi Adeloye, whose full name is Oluwatomisin Akintunde Adeloye, was born on February 17, 1996. He is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward, also known as a striker. This means he's usually at the front of the team, trying to score goals!

Tomi Adeloye's Football Journey

Tomi started his football career at Charlton Athletic. He did really well in their youth teams. His talent even caught the eye of Nigeria's youth national team, and he was invited to train with their Under-16 squad.

After leaving Charlton Athletic, Tomi joined the youth team at Millwall. While there, he finished his scholarship, which is like a special program for young players. Soon after, he signed his very first professional contract with Stoke City. At Stoke City, he scored five goals for their Under-18 team.

Over the years, Tomi played for many different clubs. Most of his early professional games were in the English Fifth Tier, which is a league called the National League. He gained a lot of experience there, playing over 80 matches for teams like Dagenham & Redbridge, Ebbsfleet United, and Barnet.

In December 2020, Tomi had a short time playing for East Kilbride in Scotland. He scored two goals in his very first game, helping his team win 9–0! However, he only played one more game before the league was stopped. He then finished that season back with Barnet, scoring three goals in 17 games.

Playing for Ayr United

Tomi decided to move back to Scotland on July 1, 2021. He joined Ayr United on a one-year deal, even though Barnet offered him a longer contract. At Ayr United, Tomi became the team's top scorer that season, netting 14 goals in 38 matches. He became a favorite among the fans before he left the club.

Time with Swindon Town

On July 15, 2022, Tomi signed a two-year contract with Swindon Town. He played his first game for them in a 3–0 loss against Harrogate Town. Tomi scored his first goal for Swindon as a substitute in a 2–1 defeat to Newport County. In May 2024, Swindon Town announced that Tomi would be leaving the club when his contract ended that summer.

Loan to Partick Thistle

In July 2023, Tomi went back to Scotland again. He joined Partick Thistle, a club in the Scottish Championship, on a loan deal for the whole season.

Tomi scored his first goal for Partick Thistle in a 4–1 away win against Greenock Morton. His goal was a fantastic curling shot right into the top corner!

In March 2024, Tomi had an injury to his hamstring, which needed surgery. This meant he couldn't play for the rest of the season. This happened after he came off the bench and scored a goal in a 2–2 draw against Queens Park.

During his time at Partick Thistle, Tomi was very efficient at scoring goals. He had one of the best goal-to-minutes ratios in the league, meaning he scored a goal very often for the amount of time he played.

How Tomi Plays

When Tomi joined Ayr United, his manager, David Hopkin, described him as a special player. He said Tomi had "real pace and power" and was very good at leading the team's attack. This means he's fast, strong, and good at being the main forward player.
