Tomoji Eguchi (江口 倫司, Eguchi Tomoji, born April 22, 1977) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was one of the main players who tried to score goals for his team.

Tomoji Eguchi's Football Journey
Tomoji Eguchi was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, on April 22, 1977. He grew up loving football and became a professional player.
Early Days and Vissel Kobe
After finishing high school, Tomoji Eguchi joined a football club called Vissel Kobe in 1996. This club was based in his home area of Hyogo. At that time, Vissel Kobe was part of the Japan Football League.
In 1996, his team, Vissel Kobe, did very well and finished in second place. This success meant they were promoted to a higher league called the J1 League starting in 1997. Tomoji Eguchi played many games as a forward for Vissel Kobe until 1998. However, in 1999, he did not get to play as much.
Moving to Avispa Fukuoka
In the year 2000, Tomoji Eguchi moved to a different club called Avispa Fukuoka. He played many matches for this team. However, in 2002, Avispa Fukuoka was moved down to a lower league, the J2 League.
Tomoji Eguchi continued to play for Avispa Fukuoka until the end of the 2003 season. After that, he decided to retire from playing professional football.
Life After Playing
Even after he stopped playing, Tomoji Eguchi stayed involved in football. From 2004 onwards, he became a coaching staff member for his former club, Vissel Kobe. This allowed him to share his experience and knowledge with new players.
