Tomáš Sivok (born September 15, 1983) is a former professional footballer from the Czech Republic. He played as a centre-back (a defender) or a midfielder. Tomáš was a key player for the Czech national team, playing in 64 games and scoring 5 goals.

Playing for Clubs
Early Career and Sparta Prague
Tomáš Sivok started his professional football journey with České Budějovice. He later moved to Sparta Prague, one of the biggest clubs in the Czech Republic. In September 2005, he became the captain of Sparta Prague, showing his leadership skills.
In 2006, Tomáš also became a well-known face for a special campaign in the Czech Republic. This campaign was called Together Against The Racism, and it aimed to fight against racism.
Moving to Italy and Turkey
In January 2007, Tomáš joined Udinese, a team in Italy. After playing there for a while, he moved to the Turkish team Beşiktaş in May 2008. He signed a long contract with Beşiktaş and became a very important player for them.
Returning Home
After many years playing abroad, Tomáš Sivok returned to his home country. In 2019, he joined Dynamo České Budějovice, the same club where he started his career.
Playing for His Country
Tomáš Sivok also had a great career playing for the Czech national team. He was the captain of the Czech Republic U21 national team in 2006. He played his first game for the senior Czech national team on September 3, 2005. He represented his country in major tournaments like the UEFA European Championships.
Personal Life
Tomáš Sivok got married to Michaela Šachlová on March 9, 2009, in Istanbul, Turkey. They have two children: a son named André Thomas and a daughter named Megan.
