Tony Bradman facts for kids
Tony Bradman (born on January 22, 1954) is a well-known English writer of children's books and short stories, especially those with a touch of speculative fiction (like science fiction or fantasy). He is most famous for creating the exciting Dilly the Dinosaur book series. Tony Bradman has written more than 50 books for young readers, published by many different companies such as Alfred A. Knopf, Methuen Publishing, Puffin Books, and HarperCollins.
Tony Bradman was born in Balham, a part of London. He studied at Queens' College, Cambridge, where he earned a master's degree. Before he started writing children's books in 1984, he worked as a music writer and reviewed children's books for Parents magazine. His Dilly the Dinosaur series has been incredibly popular, selling over 2 million copies around the world!
Today, Tony Bradman lives with his family in Beckenham, Kent.
