Anthony Patrick Grealish (born September 21, 1956 – died April 23, 2013) was a professional footballer. He played as a midfielder on the field. Tony was born in England, but his parents were Irish. Because of his family background, he played for the Republic of Ireland internationally.

Tony Grealish was born in Paddington, London. He played for many different football clubs during his career. These clubs included Leyton Orient and Luton Town. He also played for Brighton & Hove Albion and West Bromwich Albion. Later, he joined Manchester City and Rotherham United. His journey continued with Walsall and Bromsgrove Rovers.

Playing for Brighton

One of Tony's big moments was when he was the captain for Brighton. He led the team in the 1983 FA Cup Final. This is a very important football match in England.
