Anthony Rock (born June 30, 1974) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is the younger brother of the famous comedian Chris Rock. Tony is well-known for playing Uncle Ryan on the TV show Everybody Hates Chris from 2008 to 2009. He also played television producer Dirk Black on the series All of Us from 2003 to 2007. Tony Rock has appeared in several movies, including What Goes Around Comes Around (2012) and Redemption of a Dog (2012).
He also co-starred in the CBS comedy show Living Biblically. In this show, he worked alongside actors like Jay Ferguson and Sara Gilbert.

Tony Rock's Life and Career
Early Life and Beginnings
Tony Rock was born in Brooklyn, New York. His parents were Rosalie and Julius Rock. He grew up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area of New York City. Tony has six brothers and one sister.
In the early 2000s, Tony hosted a short TV game show called Can You Tell? on the Oxygen network. He was also a special reporter for the show BattleBots on Comedy Central.
Becoming a TV Star
Tony Rock has been on many radio and TV shows. These include The Howard Stern Show. He performed live in New York with other comedians to support the Apollo Theater. He played Dirk Black on the TV show All of Us.
Tony has often worked with his older brother, Chris Rock. He appeared on Chris's TV show Everybody Hates Chris. On the show, Tony played Uncle Ryan, a recurring character. The character of Drew from the show, Chris's fictional brother, is partly based on Tony. Tony Rock also hosted a show called The Funny Spot on TV One.
His Own Comedy Show
Tony Rock had his own sketch comedy TV series. It was called The Tony Rock Project. This show was on MyNetworkTV from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, Comedy Central featured Tony Rock in his own special. It was part of their Comedy Central Presents series.
In 2012, Tony appeared in the movie Think Like a Man. This film was based on a popular book by Steve Harvey. That same year, he was in another movie called What Goes Around Comes Around. He also started hosting Apollo Live on BET.
More recently, in 2022, Tony Rock was a judge on the Netflix baking show Is It Cake?. In April 2022, a video of Tony performing stand-up comedy became popular online. In his show, he talked about an incident involving his brother Chris Rock at the Oscars.
