Anthony Gerard Stubblefield, born on March 28, 1970, is a basketball coach for college teams in the United States. He is currently an assistant coach for the University of Oregon men's basketball team. Before this, he was the main coach for DePaul University. He also worked as an assistant coach for the University of Cincinnati and New Mexico State University. At New Mexico State, he even stepped in as the temporary head coach during the 2004–2005 season when the main coach, Lou Henson, was sick.

Playing College Basketball
Tony Stubblefield was a talented basketball player in high school. He played for Broomfield High School in Colorado. After high school, he played two seasons at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Then, he moved to Nebraska–Omaha for his last two years of college basketball. He was chosen to be the team captain during his final year.
Coaching College Teams
After finishing his playing career, Tony Stubblefield started coaching. He has been an assistant coach at several universities.

Interim Head Coach Role
During the 2004–2005 season, Stubblefield became the temporary head coach for New Mexico State. This happened because the main coach, Lou Henson, was dealing with an illness. As the interim coach, Stubblefield had a record of 2 wins and 12 losses.
Coaching at Cincinnati and Oregon
After his time at New Mexico State, he joined the University of Cincinnati coaching staff. He worked there for four seasons under Coach Mick Cronin.
In 2010, he became an assistant coach for the University of Oregon men's basketball team. He stayed with Oregon until 2021, helping the team for many years.
Leading the DePaul Blue Demons
On April 1, 2021, Tony Stubblefield was hired as the new head coach for the DePaul Blue Demons. He took over from the previous coach, Dave Leitao.
He coached the DePaul team for a few seasons. On January 22, 2024, DePaul decided to make a change and Stubblefield left his role as head coach.
Return to Oregon
After leaving DePaul, Tony Stubblefield returned to the University of Oregon as an assistant coach in 2024.
