Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Topoxte (Spanish: Topoxté) was a Maya archaeological site in northern Guatemala. It was the capital city of the Ko’woj Maya. Topoxte is located on an island on Yaxha Lake across from the important centre of Yaxha.
