Early Life and Career
Klaudjo Dhespo was born in Tepelenë, Albania, on December 6, 1994. His family moved to Heraklion, Greece, when he was very young, just 11 months old. He grew up in Greece and later started his music career. Toquel began making music in 2011 and has been active ever since.
Music Style and Inspirations
Toquel's stage name, Toquel, has a special meaning for him. It was inspired by a therapist who helped him feel better. When he was growing up, Toquel listened to many famous rappers. Some of his favorite artists included 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac. These artists helped shape his own rap style.
