Torashi Shimazu (島津 虎史, Shimazu Torashi, born August 20, 1978) is a former professional Japanese football player. He played as a goalkeeper, which is the player whose main job is to stop the other team from scoring goals.

Early Life and Youth Football
Torashi Shimazu was born on August 20, 1978, in Hamamatsu, Japan. Like many football players, he started playing when he was young. He played for his high school team at Hamamatsu Koto High School from 1994 to 1996. After high school, he continued to play football while attending Toin University of Yokohama from 1999 to 2002.
Playing as a Professional Goalkeeper
Shimazu began his professional career in 1997 with a club called KSV Baunatal in Germany. After that, he returned to Japan.
His Time in Japanese Clubs
- Ventforet Kofu (2003–2005): Torashi Shimazu joined Ventforet Kofu in 2003. During his time there, he did not play in any official league matches.
- Tokushima Vortis (2005–2008): In 2005, he moved to Tokushima Vortis. This is where he played most of his professional games. He played in 83 league matches for them. As a goalkeeper, his main goal was to prevent goals, and he did not score any himself.
- JEF United Chiba (2009): In 2009, Shimazu joined JEF United Chiba. He did not play in any league games for this club.
- Grulla Morioka (2010–2011): His last professional club was Grulla Morioka, where he played from 2010 to 2011. He played in 23 league matches for them before ending his playing career.
