Torashi Shimazu (島津 虎史, Shimazu Torashi, born August 20, 1978) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a goalkeeper.

Early Life and Youth Career
Torashi Shimazu was born on August 20, 1978. He started his football journey in high school. He played for Hamamatsu Koto High School from 1994 to 1996.
After high school, he continued playing football at Toin University of Yokohama. He was part of their team from 1999 to 2002. Before joining professional clubs in Japan, he also played for Baunatal in Germany from 1997 to 1998.
Professional Football Career
Shimazu played for several teams during his professional career. He was known for his role as a goalkeeper.
Ventforet Kofu (2003–2005)
Shimazu joined Ventforet Kofu in 2003. This team played in the J2 League, which is Japan's second-highest football league. He stayed with them until 2005. During his time at Ventforet Kofu, he did not play in any league matches.
Tokushima Vortis (2005–2008)
In 2005, Shimazu moved to Tokushima Vortis. He quickly became an important player for them. He played 7 league games in his first season with the club.
Over the next few years, he became a regular starter. He played 23 games in 2006 and 26 games in 2007. In 2008, he played 27 league matches. In total, he played 83 league games for Tokushima Vortis.
JEF United Chiba (2009)
