Toru Araiba (新井場 徹, Araiba Tōru, born July 12, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He was a talented defender who played for several top clubs in Japan.

Club Career Highlights
Toru Araiba started his football journey in the youth system of Gamba Osaka. He was so good that he played for the first team even while still in the youth squad in 1997. In 1998, he officially became a professional player. He quickly became a regular player for Gamba Osaka. He often played as a left midfielder, helping his team both in defense and attack.
Playing for Kashima Antlers
In 2004, Araiba moved to Kashima Antlers, another big club in Japan. Here, he played as a left side-back. This was a very successful time for him and the club. Kashima Antlers won the J1 League three years in a row, from 2007 to 2009! They also won the Emperor's Cup in 2007 and 2010. Plus, they lifted the J.League Cup in 2011 and 2012. Araiba was a key part of these amazing victories.
Final Years in Football
After many successful years with Kashima Antlers, Araiba moved to Cerezo Osaka in 2013. This was a team in his home area of Osaka. He played for Cerezo Osaka for two seasons. At the end of the 2014 season, Toru Araiba decided to retire from professional football.
National Team Experience
Toru Araiba also represented his country. In August 1995, he was chosen to play for the Japan U-17 national team. He played in the 1995 FIFA U-17 World Championship. This is a big international tournament for young players. Araiba played in all three matches for Japan in that championship.

Toru Araiba won many important trophies during his career. These awards show how successful he and his teams were:
- J1 League - He won this top Japanese league title three times: 2007, 2008, and 2009.
- Japanese Super Cup - He won this cup in 2009 and 2010.
