Toshimitsu Asai (浅井 俊光, Asai Toshimitsu, born April 4, 1983) is a Japanese football player. He was born in Fukuroi, Shizuoka, Japan. Toshimitsu Asai plays as a goalkeeper. Football Career
Toshimitsu Asai started his football journey in youth teams. From 1999 to 2001, he was part of the youth team at Júbilo Iwata. After that, he played for Shizuoka Sangyo University from 2002 to 2005.
Playing for Sagan Tosu
Asai began his professional career in 2006. He joined Sagan Tosu, a team in the J2 League. He played for Sagan Tosu for five seasons, from 2006 to 2010. During his time there, he played in 37 league games as a goalkeeper.
Moving to Blaublitz Akita
In 2011, Toshimitsu Asai moved to another team, Blaublitz Akita. He played for this club until 2015. For the first three years (2011-2013), Blaublitz Akita was in the Japan Football League. In 2014, the team joined the J3 League. Asai played in 26 league matches for Blaublitz Akita.
