Tracey Ross (born February 27, 1959) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Eve Russell on the TV show Passions from 1999 to 2008.
Early Life and Education
Tracey Ross was born in Brooklyn, New York. She went to Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood, New Jersey. After high school, she studied at Douglass College.
Career Highlights
In 1974, Tracey Ross won the Miss Black Teen-Ager of New Jersey contest. This helped her start a career in modeling. She also won L'Oreal's Look of Radiance contest in 1978.
In 1984, she became the first winner in the Spokesmodel category on the TV show Star Search. The National Association of Theatre Owners also called her a "Star of the Future."
She later joined the cast of the TV show Ryan's Hope. She played Diana Douglas from 1985 to 1987. Tracey Ross also appeared in other popular TV shows. These included The Cosby Show, Roc, Baywatch Nights, and Providence.
From 1999 to 2008, Ross starred as Eve Russell on the TV show Passions. She was nominated for the NAACP Image Award for Best Actress in a Daytime Drama Series nine times in a row for this role. Tracey Ross won this award on March 2, 2007.
Family Life
Tracey Ross has one son, Bryce Vine. He was born in June 1988 and is now a rapper and singer. In December 1988, Tracey Ross married musician Kashif.
