Traci Dinwiddie was born in Anchorage, Alaska. Her family has Syrian roots. She finished high school in Guilford County, North Carolina, in 1992. Before becoming a full-time actress, she lived in Wilmington, North Carolina, for 12 years. During that time, she even worked with heavy machinery like a front-end loader and forklift! In 2007, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on her acting career.

Traci Dinwiddie started her acting journey in North Carolina. She starred in a musical called Always … Patsy Cline. Her first movie role was in Target Earth in 1998.
