Tracy Allard is a Canadian politician who was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. She represented the area of Grande Prairie from 2019 to 2023. She was part of the United Conservative Party (UCP). From August 2020 to January 2021, she served as the Minister of Municipal Affairs.

Early Life and Education
Tracy Allard was born in 1971. She went to the University of British Columbia. There, she earned a degree called a Bachelor of Commerce. This degree helps people learn about business and how it works. She also got a special certificate in disability management. This means she learned how to help people with disabilities in the workplace.
After her studies, Tracy Allard and her husband, Serge, became business owners. They owned and ran two Tim Hortons restaurants. These popular coffee and donut shops are located in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Political Journey
Tracy Allard decided to get involved in politics. She was chosen to be the candidate for the United Conservative Party in the Grande Prairie area.
Winning the Election
In the 2019 Alberta general election, Tracy Allard won her seat. This meant she became a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). The United Conservative Party also won enough seats to form the government. This meant their party would lead the province.
Important Roles
In November 2019, Tracy Allard was given an important job. She was made the chairwoman of the Northern Alberta Development Council. This council works to help northern Alberta grow and develop.
In March 2020, she joined a special group. This group was called the Joint Working Group on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Their job was to suggest ways to help solve this serious issue in Alberta.
Becoming a Minister
On August 25, 2020, Tracy Allard was given an even bigger role. She was appointed as the Minister of Municipal Affairs. As a minister, she was in charge of things related to cities, towns, and local governments in Alberta. The previous minister, Kaycee Madu, became the Minister of Justice.
