Tracy Moore was born on January 6, 1975. She is a well-known Canadian television journalist and host. Many people know her as the host of the popular lifestyle talk show CityLine. This show was on Citytv from 2008 until 2024.
Before CityLine, Tracy was a news anchor for Breakfast Television on Citytv Toronto. She worked there from 2005 to 2008. Sometimes, she also filled in as a co-host for the show. After CityLine ended, Tracy continued to work with Rogers Sports and Media in a new role.
Early Life and Education
Tracy Moore grew up in Richmond Hill, Ontario. She attended Langstaff Secondary School during her teenage years.
After high school, Tracy went to McGill University. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science there. At first, she wanted to become a lawyer.
However, while volunteering at the campus radio station CKUT-FM, she found a new passion. She became very interested in journalism. This new interest changed her career path.
To follow her dream, Tracy then completed a master's degree in journalism. She studied at the University of Western Ontario.
Career in Television
Tracy Moore started her journalism career at CBC Television. She worked as a videographer, which means she filmed and edited news stories.
Later, she worked for a Toronto TV station called CKXT-TV. After that, she joined Citytv. In 2008, she became the host of CityLine. She hosted the show for many years, sharing lifestyle tips and interviews.
In January 2023, Tracy received a special award. She won the Changemaker Award from the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. This award was given at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards. It recognized her positive impact and influence.

Tracy Moore is married to Lio Perron. They have two children together. Their children's names are Sidney and Eva.
