The Story of Treasureton
The community of Treasureton has an interesting past. In 1881, a post office opened there. A post office is where people send and receive mail.
The very first person in charge of this post office was named William Treasure. He was called the 'postmaster'. William Treasure was important because the community was named after him! That's how Treasureton got its unique name.
