History of Trevlac
The name "Trevlac" has a cool story behind it! It's actually the name of a person, Colonel Calvert, spelled backward.
A post office was first opened in Trevlac in 1907. However, there was already another town in Indiana called Calvert. Because of this, the Post Office needed Trevlac to have a different name to avoid confusion. The Trevlac post office continued to operate for many years until it finally closed down in 1966.
