Trevor Adamson facts for kids
Trevor Adamson is a talented country and gospel singer from Pukatja, South Australia. He is famous for his song Nyanpi Matilda, which is a version of the well-known Australian song "Waltzing Matilda" sung in the Pitjantjatjara language. Trevor sings in both Pitjantjatjara and English.
He was featured in an episode of an ABC TV show called Six Australians. Trevor Adamson also appeared on the NITV show "Pmarra Country" in episode #1008. On this show, which honored the legendary Australian singer Slim Dusty, Mr. Adamson performed his Pitjantjatjara version of Slim Dusty's 1972 song "When the Rain Tumbles Down in July."
