Cool Music Videos with OK Go

Trish Sie has worked a lot with the band OK Go. The lead singer of OK Go, Damian Kulash, is her brother! She helped create many of their famous music videos.

"A Million Ways"

Her first music video with OK Go was for the song "A Million Ways". The band filmed this video in Damian's backyard. It became very popular online, meaning lots of people watched it. This video was even nominated for an award in 2006!

"Here It Goes Again"

Next, Trish Sie created, choreographed, and directed OK Go's most famous video, "Here It Goes Again" in 2006. This video is known as the "treadmill dance." Trish got the idea when she saw people walking in sync on treadmills at the gym. She thought it looked like they were dancing together without even knowing it!

The video has been watched over 65 million times on YouTube. The band even performed the treadmill dance live at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2007, the video won a Grammy Award for best short-form music video. Trish came up with the idea, and she and the band filmed it at her dance studio using a friend's camera.

"White Knuckles"

In 2010, Trish Sie worked with OK Go again on the music video for "White Knuckles". This video was also filmed in one continuous shot, meaning the camera never stopped or cut away. In the video, the band dances with 12 trained rescue dogs, furniture, and even a goat! This video got over a million views in just 24 hours after it was posted online. The money made from this project helped animal rescue efforts through the ASPCA.

"All Is Not Lost"

In 2011, Trish Sie teamed up with OK Go and a modern dance group called Pilobolus. They made a video for the song "All Is Not Lost". In this video, the band and dancers wear blue suits and move across a clear glass surface. The camera films them from underneath, looking up. This video was also nominated for a Grammy Award in 2012.

"Skyscrapers"

In 2012, Trish Sie came up with the idea for the music video "Skyscrapers." This song is from OK Go's album Of the Blue Colour of the Sky. The video includes the tango dance, which Trish herself performed. The "Skyscrapers" video was later turned into a stage show by Trish and Pilobolus. It was performed in New York City in 2012.

"Upside Down & Inside Out"

In 2016, Trish directed the music video for OK Go's "Upside Down & Inside Out." This video was filmed entirely in zero gravity! They used a special Russian aircraft that flies in curves to create a feeling of weightlessness. Trish said this was her most challenging project ever.
