Trokoniz is a small village, also known as a hamlet, located in the Iruraiz-Gauna area of Álava province. This province is part of the Basque Country in Spain. In 2020, about 82 people lived in Trokoniz. It's also called a "council" (or concejo in Spanish), which means it has its own local government.

Trokoniz is found in a beautiful part of Spain. It is located about 13 kilometers (which is about 8 miles) to the east-southeast of a bigger city called Vitoria-Gasteiz. This makes it a quiet place, but still close enough to a larger urban area.
