Trond Brænne (born 31 July 1953 – died 16 March 2013) was a talented Norwegian actor, writer, and radio host. He was famous for his many roles in plays and on TV. Trond also wrote popular songs and books for children.

About Trond Brænne's Life
Trond Brænne lived with another writer named Iben Sandemose. He had three children. His son, Bendik Brænne, is a musician and writer, just like his dad.
In 2010, Trond, his son Bendik, and his daughter Kaia Brænne were all nominated for a special award. This award was the Brage Prize for children's literature. It shows how talented their family was!
Trond Brænne's Health Journey
In 1999, Trond had some serious heart problems. He needed a heart transplant, which means he received a new heart. This experience affected him a lot.
Even after this big surgery, Trond stayed very active. He quickly went back to his normal work. He loved being an actor and a writer.
Sadly, on March 15, 2013, Trond became very ill at work. He had a serious health issue caused by a problem with his aorta, a main blood vessel. He was in critical condition for almost a day.
Trond Brænne passed away the next day, on March 16, 2013. He was almost 60 years old. He is remembered by his partner, Iben Sandemose, and his three children.
