Tsubasa Oya had a long career playing professional football in Japan. He started playing at a young age and moved through different teams.
Early Years and University Football
Tsubasa Oya began his football journey in the youth system. He was part of the youth team at Sanfrecce Hiroshima. After that, he played university football. He attended Kansai University from 2005 to 2008.
Professional Club Career
Oya started his professional career with Vissel Kobe in 2009. He played for Vissel Kobe for several seasons. During his time there, he also went on loan to Fagiano Okayama in 2012. A loan means he played for another team temporarily.
After leaving Vissel Kobe, he joined Omiya Ardija in 2015. He played for this club for three years. Later, he moved to Tokushima Vortis in 2018. His final team was Gainare Tottori, where he played in 2019.
Retirement and New Role
Tsubasa Oya decided to retire from playing football in February 2020. After retiring, he did not leave the world of football. He became a school coach for Vissel Kobe, his former club. This new role allows him to teach young players.
